Britney Spears former manager challenges commissioner ruling

Sam Lufti wants case to be reassigned to a judge

Britney Spears former manager Sam Lutfi has filed an official objection to the Superior Court commissioner being allowed to oversee Britney Spears’ conservatorship.

The objection was filed on Friday, but did not reach the courtroom in time for the a hearing on Monday when a restraining order against Lufti was extended for another month by the Commissioner.

Lutfi filed the papers himself, bearing just one line that said “Please take notice that Osama "Sam" Lutfi will not stipulate to the above-referenced case being heard by Reva Goetz, commissioner presiding, to whom the above-entitled case has been assigned."

Lutfi is representing himself in the case and can appeal for the case to be assigned to a judge on April 16.

He once called himself Spears’ manager but is now not allowed to come within 250 feet of the troubled pop star. The restraining order was filed by her mother Lynne Spears who says Lutfi drugged her daughter and hid car keys and mobile phone chargers from her.
