Jamie Spears gets his daughter's finances in order

Britney Spears’ father Jamie is making the most of his time as conservator of her estate by getting her affairs in order while he can.

In addition to giving Britney $1,500 a week to spend, Spears father is planning to sell or dispose of many of his daughters’ cars which range from two white Mercedes, a white Mini Cooper convertible, and a black Audi.

Lawyers for Jamie Spears told the court on Monday that the cars were costing the estate too much money to maintain, and that getting rid of them would “save substantial expense to the conservatorship estate,” reports the Associated Press.

Jamie Spears was named co-conservator of Britney’s estate earlier this year shortly after the singer was hospitalised for psychiatric issues.

He will maintain control of the estate until a hearing on July 31.
