Britney Spears' Madonna collaboration delayed
Technical issues hold up video shoot
Britney Spears' video shoot for a 'virtual appearance' on Madonna's upcoming tour has reportedly been held up to due technical difficulties.
As previously reported, the veteran singer asked the troubled pop star to appear in a video that will be displayed during her Sticky & Sweet tour, which kicks off in Cardiff, Wales on August 23.
Spears was due to begin shooting the video montage in Los Angeles today (July 9), but production insiders told E! Online that the set was not finished in time for the shoot.
The set is said to feature an elevator in which Spears will dance. "The video will be very deep," the source said. "You've never seen Britney like this before. It will blow your mind."
Filming is expected to begin later this week. Madonna and Spears previously made headlines together when they shared an open-mouth kiss on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003.
