Britney Spears to release new album on her birthday
'Circus' is due out in December
Britney Spears has announced that she plans to release her forthcoming album on her 27th birthday.
'Circus', due out in the US on December 2, features work by a host of producers, including Nate "Danja" Hills and Max Martin, who produced some of the singer's biggest hits, including 'Baby One More Time'.
'Womanizer' will be the album's first single, and is due out on September 22, reports the Associated Press.
Speaking about the album last month, Spears said: "I think it is more urban. This is my best work ever."
Spears' most recent album 'Blackout' debuted at Number Two on the US Billboard Chart last November, but sales of the album quickly declined.
