Britney Spears' father granted permanent conservatorship
He'll continue to manage his daughter's affairs
Britney Spears' father was granted permanent conservatorship of his daughter's affairs by a Los Angeles court today (October 28).
In a closed-door hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz made permanent the arrangement that has given Jamie Spears control over the pop star's financial and personal affairs since February.
Britney Spears' attorney did not contest the decision, which came after she underwent a medical evaluation, reports the Associated Press.
The conservatorship was originally put in place after Spears had been behaving erratically in public and had been hospitalised twice.
