Britney Spears: 'Every day is like Groundhog Day'
Singer speaks about her troubles in new documentary
Britney Spears has spoken about her recent troubles, saying that she feels that every day feels like "Groundhog Day" to her.
The singer said she was finding her current lifestyle, which sees her constantly scrutinised by the press and followed by paparazzi, a strain.
Spears is involved in a custody battle for her children with ex-partner Kevin Federline and had a public breakdown last year, infamously shaving her head in a salon.
"There's no excitement, there's no passion," she said in documentary 'For The Record', set to be aired on Sky One on December 1. "I have really good days, and then I have bad days.
"Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you're gonna get out. But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like Groundhog Day every day."
Spears added that she felt restricted by her new lifestyle, despite appearing to have recovered from the troubles that saw her have a public breakdown last year.
"I think it's too in control," she said. "If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under I'd feel so liberated. If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time.
"I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to be free."
