Judge extends restraining order against Britney Spears' ex-manager
Sam Lutfi must continue to steer clear of the pop star
A Los Angeles judge has extended the temporary restraining order against Britney Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi.
Judge Aviva K. Bobb ruled today (February 23) that Lutfi, who was also once a close friend of the pop star, must continue to stay away from her while the judge hears further arguments in the case, reports the Associated Press.
Spears' father, Jamie Spears, is set to testify in the case against Lutfi on Wednesday (February 25). He and his attorneys are seeking the restraining order on the grounds that Lutfi tried to sabotage a court conservatorship that gives him control of his daughter's affairs. Her family has also accused him of drugging the singer to maintain power over her.
