Britney Spears' ex surrenders
Adnan Ghalib pleads not-guilty to hit-and-run charges
Britney Spears' ex-boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, has surrendered to authorities after being charged with assault and hit-and-run felonies.
The 36-year-old paparazzo voluntarily turned himself in at a Van Nuys, California courthouse yesterday (February 25). He pleaded not guilty to charges of hit-and-run and assault stemming from an incident in which he allegedly used his car to strike down a process server notifying him that Spears' father was seeking a restraining order against him in January.
Ghalib was booked into the Van Nuys jail and released that same morning, without having to post bail, reports E! Online. A court date has not yet been set.
Meanwhile, a Los Angeles judge yesterday agreed to extended the temporary restraining order against Ghalib and Spears' former manager, Sam Lutfi.
