Britney Spears allegedly says she was threatened by her father
Voicemail from the singer appears on the internet
A voicemail apparently left by Britney Spears for a lawyer has surfaced online, in which the singer alleges that her father threatened to take her children away from her.
In the voicemail, Spears appears to be asking for legal help to have her father removed as conservator of her estate.
The voicemail says: "Hi my name's Britney Spears. I called you earlier. I'm calling again because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of the eliminating the conservatorship that my father has threatened me several times, that you know, he'll take my children away. I just want to be guaranteed that everything will be fine with the process and that you guys are taking care of everything, that things will stay the same as far as my custodial time. That's it, bye."
The recording has appeared on several websites, but so far no comment has emerged from Spears’ father, or his lawyers.
