Britney Spears cancels Polish show

Poles reportedly reject 'unacceptable' contract

Britney Spears cancels Polish show

Britney Spears has announced the cancellation of her upcoming show in Warsaw, Poland.

The concert, which was scheduled to take place on July 24 as part of Spears' 'Circus' world tour, has been axed due to a contractual disagreement.

A posting on the pop star's website announced that the Polish promoter cancelled the show "due to a contractual dispute that was unable to be resolved."

A source from a Polish ticket seller told the Associated Press that the show was cancelled because tour organiser AEG Live presented the Poles with a contract that was "unacceptable under Polish law and hence by us."

The posting on Spears' website added: "Britney regrets that she will not be visiting Poland's capital during her world tour. She apologizes to all her loyal fans for the cancellation and hopes to visit the culturally exciting city of Warsaw in the near future."
