Nicki Minaj confirms Britney Spears tour will be drug and alcohol free

Rapper also says that the Lil' Wayne tour was sober

Nicki Minaj has confirmed that the Britney Spears tour will be drug and alcohol free.

Speaking to Life & Style Minaj confirmed that the US leg Femme Fatale tour, where she is the support act, will be a very sober affair indeed.

When asked if the tour was drug and alcohol free she said: “Yes, as it should be. I think it’s a great thing. It’s definitely not a negative thing. It’s not going to affect me in any way. If that’s the way Britney wants it, so be it. She's the queen of her castle. It trickles down and makes everyone responsible.”

She also said: "I should add that there were no drugs and alcohol on the Lil Wayne tour I just completed."

Of the forthcoming tour, which begins on June 17 in Saramento and runs for 26 dates, Minaj said: "We start on June 17, and I'm sure it’s going to be a whirlwind. I'm sure it’s going to change the way I view touring. Every tour I do is different and I get new energy."
