Enigmatic Brummy retro futurists return with limited edition 45...
BROADCAST who appeared this year at the Bowlie Festival after a long absence, return with a limited edition 7" single on November 1. 'Echo's Answer' backed with 'Test Area' is a taster for the band's debut album ('Work And Non Work', released in 1997, was a compilation of singles and EPs) due out early next year.
Broadcast play the Warp 10th anniversary celebrations when the label hosts three nights of acts at the Z Rooms, Truman Brewery, London E1.
The lineup is:
Red Snapper, Jimi Tenor and special guests (November 3) Plaid,Broadcast, Plone (4) Autechre, Boards Of Canada, Squarepusher, AphexTwin (5)
Tickets are priced at #10 with all profits going to the Cambridge Music Therapy appeal.
