Brody Dalle played her first UK solo show last night (February 24) as part of 2014's run of NME Awards shows with Austin, Texas.

The former Distillers and Spinnerette frontwoman took to the stage at London's Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen at just after 9:30pm to play a 12-song set including cuts from her previous bands.

Opening with 'Die On A Rope' from The Distillers' 2003 album 'Coral Fang', the singer then launched into 'Dismantle Me' from the same record before previewing a handful of tracks from her forthcoming debut solo LP 'Diploid Love'.

"Who's got my yellow socks?" Dalle, dressed in a bright orange T-shirt and black jeans, asked the crowd midway through the set, referring to a tweet sent earlier in the day requesting fans bring her a clean pair. She later took off her guitar to perform Spinnerette's 'Ghetto Love', throwing herself into the crowd before finishing the song lying down on the stage.

"This song is from my favourite band of all time," Dalle told the crowd before her and her band ran through a cover of The Misfits' 'Hybrid Moments'. She then concluded the set with the title track of The Distillers' second album 'Sing Sing Death House' and an as-yet- unreleased new song, 'Intro/Underworld'.

Brody Dalle played:

'Die On A Rope'
'Dismantle Me'
'Rat Race'
'Don't Mess With Me'
'Meet The Foetus/Oh Joy'
'Sick Of It All'
'Ghetto Love'
'Dressed In Dreams'
'Blood In Gutters'
'Hybrid Moments'
'Sing Sing Death House'
'Intro/Underworld'
