Bruce Springsteen to play entire albums at New Jersey gigs
Former Glastonbury headliner to perform classic albums in full
Playing the Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, the group will play 'Born To Run' and 'Born In The USA' twice, while 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town' will be played at the other show.
Springsteen has already tested out a full album performance playing 'Born To Run' in its entirety at a Chicago gig earlier this month.
"Chicago convinced us that this was really worth doing," Springsteen's manager Jon Landau explained in a statement. "The audience was so supportive of the concept that it convinced us to go ahead with this at Giants Stadium."
The band, who are currently on tour, are expecting to go on an extended break following the scheduled gigs.
"We are gonna take, I don't know how long, a year, year and a half, two years [break]," guitarist Steven Van Zandt said last week to Angy Ape.
The album performance schedule for the Giants Stadium is as follows:
'Born To Run' (September 30)
'Darkness On The Edge Of Town' (October 2)
'Born In The USA' (3)
'Born To Run' (8)
'Born In The USA' (9)
