'Little' Steven Van Zandt says it could happen 'soon'

A new Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band album could be in the works.

The singer and the band’s last release was 2001’s ’Live In New York City’ album. They also collaborated on the song ’Land Of Hope And Dreams’ on 2001’s ’God Bless America’ compilation.

Now, band guitarist Little Steven Van Zandt has told Spinner a new album could be on its way.

“We gotta make a record, which could happen soon," he said. "I don’t have any reason to say this other than my own instinct but I just get a vibe it’s going to be sooner than later.

“(Springsteen) literally could call me today, we could have a new album out and be on the road within three months.”
