The Boss will play his home state tonight

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are gearing up for two rehearsal shows tonight and tomorrow in the singer's home state of New Jersey.

Springsteen and the E Street Band will play the Convention Hall in Asbury Park, close to b]Freehold[/b], where Springsteen grew up.

Tickets sold out within minutes of going on sale last week, with fans keen to see the singer perform on home turf.

Springsteen and the E Street Band are preparing for the release of their album ‘Magic’, scheduled to be released October 2. The band will embark on a lengthy tour that night, kicking off in Hartford, CT.

But fans who missed out on tickets to tonight’s show will have the opportunity to see the band when they return to New Jersey for shows at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford on October 9 and 10.

‘Magic’ is the first release from Springsteen and the E Street Band since 2002’s ‘The Rising’.
