New Bruce Springsteen album release date finalised

'Working On A Dream' will be out in January

Bruce Springsteen[/a] and the [b]E Street Band's new record is to be released in January 2009.

The album, 'Working On A Dream', will feature 12 new songs plus two bonus tracks - one entitled 'The Wrestler' from the movie starring Mickey Rourke of the same name and 'A Night With The Jersey Devil', which Springsteen gave away for free online on Halloween.

Springsteen worked with producer Brendan O'Brien on the record, as he did on 2007's 'Magic'.

The E Street Band came into the studio during tour breaks.

Springsteen told Billboard: "All the songs were written quickly - we usually used one of our first few takes."

The record will be released in the US on January 27.

The tracklisting is as follows:

'Outlaw Pete'
'My Lucky Day'
'Working On A Dream'
'Queen Of The Supermarket'
'What Love Can Do'
'This Life'
'Good Eye'
'Tomorrow Never Knows'
'Life Itself'
'Kingdom of Days'
'Surprise, Surprise'
'The Last Carnival'

Bonus tracks:
'The Wrestler'
'A Night With the Jersey Devil'
