The Fray knock the Boss off the top of the US chart

Denver band score year's first Number One debut

The Fray hit Number One on the US Billboard chart this week, bumping Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's 'Working On A Dream' down to Number Two.

The Denver band scored the year's first Number One debut with their self-titled sophomore album. They sold 179,000 copies, while The Boss sold 102,000 copies of his new album in its second week on the chart.

The Fray and Springsteen were the only artists to sell more than six figures this week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
