Rare Bruce Springsteen photos to benefit charity

Iconic Boss images to be raffled off starting today (April 23)

Several rare photos of Bruce Springsteen are being given away as prizes in a raffle benefiting the Community FoodBank in the singer's home state, New Jersey.

Those who donate $25 or more to the hunger-fighting charity will have the chance to win one of the iconic shots, signed by the photographers who took them. These renowned rock snappers have shot Springsteen album covers including 'Born To Run', 'Born In The U.S.A', 'Darkness On The Edge Of Town' and 'The Rising'.

Once 14,000 donations have been made, 14 names will be drawn at random to receive a print. The contest begins today (April 23) at Backstreets.com/hunger.

Meanwhile, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band are in the midst of an extensive world tour supporting their most recent album 'Working On A Dream'.

Like For You, the forthcoming book will feature concert photography and stories from fans. Kirsch tells NME, "This tribute to Darkness will be something special: more passionate stories, breathtaking never-seen-before photos, and some discovered artwork and memorabilia gems that will be of great interest to fans no matter when they were introduced to Bruce's music."
