Bruno Mars has unveiled a remix – or as he's called it, a 'G-Mix' – of his track 'Gorilla'.

The song, which is taken from his current album 'Unorthodox Jukebox', has been re-worked to include verses from Pharrell and R Kelly. You can listen to the track by scrolling down the page and clicking 'play'.

Mars posted the track on Twitter on Friday (November 9), writing: "This is the Gorilla G-MIX Featuring two of my favorite artist @Pharrell and @rkelly #BangBang."

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars will perform at halftime during next year's Super Bowl event. The singer will perform at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on February 2.

The Super Bowl halftime performance is renowned for controversial performances. In 2004, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake incited uproar as the latter tore part of Jackson's outfit, revealing one of her breasts. The incident was later blamed on a 'wardrobe malfunction' but still ignited widespread debate over perceived indecency in broadcasting. Television network CBS was fined $550,000 by the Federeal Communications Commission but this later overruled.

In 2012, Madonna invited Nicki Minaj and MIA to join her during her performance but when MIA put her middle finger up to the camera, the pop icon was not pleased. Speaking in the aftermath of the event, she told called in to celebrity interviewer Ryan Seacrest's radio show to tell him: "I was really surprised. I didn’t know anything about it. I wasn’t happy about it. I understand it’s punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity, it seemed negative. It’s such a teenager ... irrelevant thing to do ... there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point?"
