Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry joins forces with DJ Hell
'U Can Dance' is released January 2010
DJ Hell and former Roxy Music man Bryan Ferry have come together for the single 'U Can Dance'.
The track will be released in January, and has been remixed by Carl Craig, Tim Goldsworthy from DFA and Simian Mobile Disco.
Hell first met Ferry in 2006, when Hell visited Ferry's studio in west London. Initially the pair discussed Hell remixing an old Roxy Music track, but decided to work on an unreleased Ferry solo track instead.
"It's always a pleasure to work with people from that genre, who follow a singular groove," said Ferry of working with someone from the world of dance music.
The video for the track is directed by Jo Apps, sometime vocalist with The Big Pink and sister of Patrick Wolf, while La Roux's stylist Nova Dando was also involved.
