BUFFALO TOM 'SMITTEN' WITH NEW ALBUM

Buffalo Tom release their new album on September 28 through the Beggars Banquet label.

The album, entitled 'Smitten', is the band's sixth and delivers the following tracks: 'Rachael', 'Scottish Windows', 'White Paint Morning', 'The Bible', 'Postcard', 'Knot In It', 'Under Milk Wood', 'Do You In', 'Wiser', 'See To Me', 'Register Side' and 'Walking Wounded'.

A spokesman said the album was similar in sound to the band's 1995 album 'Sleepy Eyed'. "It's not lush prodcution but it's slightly less garage-y. But it's got fantastic songs which is what you'd expect from Buffalo Tom."

The band are expected to tour the UK before the end of the year.
