BUSH STAR'S ACTING CAREER GETS 'RED LIGHT'!

Gavin Rossdale goes from post-grunge rocker to thespian...

GAVIN ROSSDALE is to star in British gangster film 'RED LIGHT RUNNERS' and contribute to its soundtrack.

The Bush singer joins Mickey Rourke as the latest additions to the cast, according to Internet reports. They will star alongside Harvey Kietel, Dennis Hopper and Michael Madsen.

The film has been reported as featuring footballer David Beckham in a cameo role. His wife Victoria Beckham will be on the soundtrack.

'Red Light Runners' will have an extra twist by featuring a dead celebrity. The film’s writer and producer Clark Westerman is reported on ananova.com as saying: ""Via digital FX, we plan to bring back a dearly missed, deeply talented celebrity. They will be inserted into a background of a scene."
