BUSH BOSS PRUNED

BUSH have revealed that their new manager is IRVING AZOFF, the man behind THE EAGLES.

Gavin Rossdale, frontman with the multi-million-selling rockers, told nme.com last week that there had been changes behind the scenes in the Bush camp, and it has now emerged that they have amicably parted ways with their former manager Dave Dorrell - a former Number One star himself in his incarnation as M/A/R/R/S, whose 'Pump Up The Volume' topped the UK charts in 1987.

Dorrell, who had managed the band through the eight-year career which has seen them soar to fame in the States and sell 15 million albums, is believed to have grown weary of a long-running legal wrangle between the band and their US label Interscope, from whose contract they want to be released.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the band said that Azoff plans to set up a UK office and focus on helping Bush repeat their American success in their native Britain. Rossdale indicated last week that they are close to signing a UK deal and hope to have their new album completed by Christmas.
