Busta Rhymes trial postponed until November
Busta Rhymes
String of charges against rapper include beating up a fan
The trial of Busta Rhymes has been postponed until November because lawyers on both sides of the case said they are not ready to go to court.
The rapper who showed up to yesterday’s hearing in Manhattan in a sober grey suit was told he will now face the court on November 7 on charges of beating up a fan, kicking a former employee and multiple driving offenses including drunk driving.
Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Smith, previously rejected a plea deal that would have seen him go to jail for a year.
