Four rappers appear in New York court on same day

Four famous rappers appeared in a New York court yesterday, each facing charges resulting from separate incidents.

Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Lil’ Wayne and Remy Ma were all facing charges at Manhattan Criminal Court yesterday, and each was given a new court date.

Busta Rhymes is in trouble for assault and drunk driving, Ja Rule appeared for carrying a handgun, as did Lil’ Wayne.

Meanwhile Remy Ma faced charges of assault and witness tampering after she allegedly shot an acquaintance in a dispute over money and then intimidated her, says the Associated Press.
