BUSTED TO LIGHT UP LONDON

Busted are to switch on the Christmas lights in LONDON’s REGENT STREET this week.

The pop trio will treat fans to three live songs after turning on the lights at the ceremony, celebrating its 50th birthday, on November 7.

The band join a list of celebrities like Kylie,

Will Young and Busted, who have headed the ceremony in previous years.

The free street party, which usually plays host to thousands of fans, looks set to be the festive season's biggest. The street will be closed to traffic, with Busted taking to the stage at 5.15pm.

>Busted will hope to outdo last year’s effort by [a][/a], whose attempt to turn on the lights ended in disaster when he switched on the power and the lights failed to come on.
