Calvin Harris has announced that he will release his second album, 'Ready For The Weekend', on August 17.

The Dizzee Rascal collaborator will precede the release with a single, also named 'Ready For The Weekend', out on August 10.

The song will feature vocals by singer Mary Pearce.

The single will be backed by remixes by High Contrast, Fake Blood and Dave Spoon.

Tracks set for the album include 'Relax' and 'Worst Day', plus his UK chart-topping Dizzee collaboration 'Dance Wiv Me' and his own Number One single, 'I'm Not Alone'.

In a statement Harris claimed the album boasts "massive riffs, big hands-in-the-air moments".

Meanwhile, see the current issue of NME, out now, for the exclusive lowdown on Calvin Harris and Dizzee Rascal's next joint single.
