Calvin Harris helped kick off the second day of T In The Park today (July 11) with a lunchtime slot on the Main Stage, during which he jokingly blamed the festival for "ruining" his drummer.
Shortly into the set he told a tale about how his sticksman did his back in after having a cold shower on the Kinross site shortly before showtime.
"He did his back in about half-an-hour ago," Harris explained. "I apologise on T In The Park's behalf for ruining my drummer."
The singer/producer went on to induce mass dancing in the sun with hits including set closer and recent UK chart-topper 'I'm Not Alone' and 'Acceptable In The 80s'.
"Ladies and gentlemen it's a pleasure to be back in Scotland," Harris exclaimed, clearly enjoying performing in his home country, adding, "I'm from Dumfries."
During 'Colours' he said: "I'm so happy to be here". He then raised his arm and added: "I need to ask you one question - are you ready to go off?" The crowd responded by raising their arms and cheering loudly.
Harris changed the lyrics of 'The Girls' to shout, "I love those Scottish girls!" repeatedly.
