Calvin Harris announces US album release details
He also plots a handful of North American tour dates
Calvin Harris has announced that he will release his second album, 'Ready For The Weekend', on October 6 in the US.
The album will be released digitally on August 17. Its first single will be the title track featuring vocals by Mary Pearce.
"What I'm into at the moment is the idea of stadium dance," Harris said in a statement. "Playing football stadiums with massive riffs, big hands-in-the-air moments."
Harris has also announced a handful of North American dates to support the new album.
The tour dates are:
Brooklyn, NY Music Hall of Williamsburg (September 10)
Chicago, IL Vision Nightclub (11)
Los Angeles, CA Vanguard (12)
Vancouver, BC Venue (13)
