Calvin Harris has leapt straight to the top of the UK album chart tonight (August 23)with new release 'Ready For The Weekend, knocking the late Michael Jackson from the perch, where he has been for two months.

Jackson's album 'The Essential' has dropped to six from one. It had been ontop for seven weeks. Previous to that his album 'Number Ones' had been the nation's favourite for a week.

On the single chart there is also a change as David Guetta scores his second number one single of the year with 'Sexy Chick' featuring Akon. It climbs from 21. His June number one 'When Love Takes Over' remains in the top 20 at 19.

The one new entry on the Top 20 singles chart comes from Esmee Denters whose first single 'Outta Here' debuts at number seven. Esmee was discovered by Justin Timberlake when she was still a pancake waitress in her native Holland.

Back on the album countdown, the only other new entry on the Top 20 comes from Tinchy Stryder at two with 'Catch 22'.
