Calvin Harris has clarified a Twitter message which seemingly attacked Dizzee Rascal's new England football song 'Shout For England'.

In the original post, which has since been deleted, the DJ/producer linked to a video of the rapper's performance of the track on Britain's Got Talent saying: "Fucking hell, did this really happen???".

Now Harris has again taken to Twitter to explain what he meant.

"uuhhhhh i wasn't 'attacking' Dizzee over the World Cup song, news sources," he said, "i thought it was a bit surreal that's all!".

He added:"I would NEVER slate Dizzee he is still an all time music hero of mine, AND he saved my 2008!"

Harris, who worked with Dizzee Rascal on two UK chart-toppers 'Dance Wiv Me' and 'Holiday', also went on to suggest that he thinks his former collaborator could be set for an MBE.

He said: "I reckon within this decade we'll be calling him Dizzee Rascal MBE!"
