Calvin Harris will replace Duran Duran at this year's V Festival after the band were forced to postpone part of their European tour.

The dance star will headline the Arena Stage in Chelmsford and Staffordshire over the weekend of August 20-21. Duran Duran pulled out due to ongoing vocal troubles with frontman Simon Le Bon.

The singer damaged his voice while performing at the Cannes Film Festival. The injury has left him without the use of the top range of his vocal chords.
