Cam’ron has been shot following an attempted carjacking.
The rapper needed hospital treatment in Washington after a man tried to steal his sports car at traffic lights in the early hours of yesterday morning (October 23).
The gunman fired a single shot after Cam’ron refused to give up the vehicle and attempted to drive away.
The bullet passed through both of the rapper’s arms, a spokeswoman for his label Diplomat Records said.
Cam’ron – real name Cameron Giles – got an early break in the music industry through his friendship with The Notorious BIG, who was killed on a Los Angeles street in March 1997 after seven shots were fired into his vehicle.
