Carbon/Silicon postpone residency for a week

Carbon/Silicon’s residency at London pub Inn On The Green has been put on hold for one week.

The band will not be able to play the Ladbroke Grove boozer on Friday (January 18) due to a prior booking at the venue.

The “Carbon Casino” shows, though, will continue every Friday from January 25 until February 22.

Tickets are no sold in advance but are available from the pub on the day of each show for £10.

The opening night (January 11) saw a mini Clash reunion as Carbon/Silicon frontman Mick Jones was joined onstage by old drummer Topper Headon.

Meanwhile Carbon/Silicon release new single ’Why Do Men Fight’ on February 11.

The Shockwaves NME Awards 2008 are coming soon – and it’s time to have your say. Vote now by heading to NME.COM/awardsvote and you could win VIP tickets to the ceremony, which takes place in London on February 28.
