Carl Barat is to take over Club NME for a pre-New Year extravaganza.
The former Libertine, who will launch his new band Dirty Pretty Things in the New Year, will be joined by Annalisa Astarita to bring the newly named ‘Bright Young Things’ to KOKO in Camden, north London, for a special night of festivities on December 30.
Taking over the reigns of Club NME for one night only, the bill they have put together includes NME Shockwaves Awards show performers The Paddingtons, Silvery, The Crimea and The Dirge.
There will also be guest DJs on the night, and some collaborations are expected too.
Tickets are £13 in advance – go to Koko.uk.com and click events for more details.
