Carl Barat announces Mark Ronson collaboration

The Dirty Pretty Thing also teaming up with The Reverend

Carl Barat has revealed he is set to collaborate with producer Mark Ronson on a new project.

However, the Dirty Pretty Things frontman is refusing to reveal the details of the team-up.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Barat said: "I'm a fan of Ronson. Who isn't? We have something coming up but it's very hush-hush. I don't want to jinx anything so my lips are sealed, but it could be brilliant."

The singer/guitarist also revealed that he is collaborating on a project with Reverend And The Makers' Jon McClure, saying: "He's a busy man too. I think he's got Attention Defecit Disorder like me."

I agree with mozafan. All Ronson did was take a load of already popular and well-known songs, got a load of already popular and well-known singers to sing them, and got a number 1 record. What a load of bullshit.

Like Mozafan and Chrispaz have said he just steals good songs and adds a bit and gets money. Clever idea of making money but there is nothing special about him at all.

i don't agree with the people who sayed mark ronson is rubbish. i think his covers are great! and, also, he is a very good producer. he produced the cd "back to black" of amy winehouse, which recived a lot of grammy awards and now he is producing the third album of kaiser chiefs, an amazing band!
