PEOPLE'S DJ ON THE SCREEN
Acetate will be BBC's first attempt to deal with club culture on TV...
There will be live sessions filmed in the studio and features on labels, DJs and clubs as well as a historical overview looking at the roots of modern dance music going back to the 60s.
The first show will have a feature celebrating a decade of New York's Strictly Rhythm records and will feature Roger Sanchez and Masters At Work.
Carl Cox also turns up in a cameo role in Human Traffic, a film by Justin Kerrigan that looks at a group of mates on a 'lost weekend'. The film opens nationally on June 4 but will be previewed at Homelands this weekend.
