COX GOES CHERRY PICKING!

CARL COX will be working with 80s singing sensation NENEH CHERRY on his next album, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

"I'm in the studio at the moment, creating my new album and it's going to feature Neneh Cherry amongst others," Cox explained. He also revealed that two singles from the album would be released before the end of the year, with the album itself set for release next April.

As previously reported on NME.COM, noted collaborators on the LP include Fatboy Slim and Roni Size.

"We've started working on a track already," commented Cox on his Fatboy collaboration. "We've got a few samples and guitar licks already sewn up. It's a typical Fatboy Slim sound, with the Carl Cox house and techno energy, a very interesting project to be involved in."

Cox, meanwhile, has a busy summer ahead of him with gigs booked throughout Europe, together with his Area 21 tour with Paul Oakenfold, OutKast and Moby, which will take place across the USA in July.
