Cat Power announces African tour
Singer's globe trotting sponsored by charity
Cat Power is set to go an African tour that will take place in January.
The jaunt will take her across the continent and then into India and Bangladesh.
It is sponsored by a charity called ’charity’- a New York based organisation.
According to Myspace.com/catpower the singer is planning to "visit a few hospitals with no water and then gonna dig a well (for) a few schools and just do basic travelling to 'find' new places for wells.
"Driving in a 4 X 4 truck...wearing my hoodie, jeans and Adidas for 3 weeks...dude."
Cat Power is set to release her new album 'Jukebox' on January 21.
