The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas makes a cameo in the video for Cerebral Ballzy's latest song, 'City's Girl'.

Click below to watch the grainy black and white promo for the song, which the band's frontman Honor Titus directed. Speaking to Rolling Stone, Titus said the video is a love letter to New York. "This video was made to serve as a time capsule capturing the fleeting beauty and twisted innocence of living in the city. Heavily inspired by some of my no wave and French New Wave cinema favorites, it was shot very run-and-gun, and also very fun."

He added: "Jim Jarmusch would be pretty proud. I'd say Lydia Lunch would have a crush on us. This effort makes obvious that downtown New York City still has a bit of edge. That lackadaisical cool that has become customary is still engrained in at least Ballzy's motives. Julian Casablancas gets it."

Cerebral Ballzy will headline the Monster NME Radar Tour 2013, with The Amazing Snakeheads - pictured - joining them on the bill. Taking place throughout November, the tour will start in Cambridge on November 15 and visit Coventry, Liverpool, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Brighton, Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham and Southampton before winding up in Leeds on November 27. The Bohicas and Fat White Family will also appear on selected dates. The Bohicas will play on 15 – 21 November on the stint, while Fat White Family will play 22 – 27 November.

Cerebral Ballzy will release their second album 'Jaded & Faded' before the end of 2013, having worked with producer Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Beady Eye) on the release. New Domino Records signings The Amazing Snakeheads have been labelled by NME as "Scotland's most exciting new band".
