Chairlift have announced the dates of an extensive North American tour, kicking off next month.

The hotly tipped New York band will begin their tour on February 7 in Miami before hitting cities including New York, Cleveland, New Orleans, Athens, Seattle and San Francisco.

The jaunt will also include a stop at Austin's South by Southwest Festival, and dates with Peter, Bjorn and John before concluding in Toronto on April 25.

Chairlift are supporting their 2008 debut album, 'Does You Inspire You'.
