Chance The Rapper shares selfie with new housemate James Blake
The pair have moved in together in Los Angeles to work on new music
As revealed to NME last month (January), the rapper and Mercury Prize winner are living together having moved into a new home in Los Angeles. The pair previously collaborated on a remix to Blake's song 'Life Around Here' in 2013.
An image posted by Chance on Instagram last night (February 3) shows the pair together and was accompanied by a caption which reads: "All settled in the new crib. And there's a fire pit on my balcony."
Speaking to NME earlier this year about what he hopes to gain from his time spent living with Blake, Chance stated: "I've never lived anywhere other than this house, the one I grew up in in Chicago. It will probably be like being on vacation for the first couple of months. Then I'll start figuring out what kind of music I'll be making."
He continued: "We're probably going to make a bunch of shit every day. I don't know what we're going to do with it. We might give some shit to other artists. We're getting a compound so we figure we might invite people round to the crib and make some music in the house, then kick them out and bring in some new people."
Chance The Rapper recently appeared in the new video from Justin Bieber, for the track 'Confident', on which he contributed a guest verse.
