Chance The Rapper has revealed that he is "feeling better" after being released from hospital.

Over the weekend, the rapper was forced to cancel his appearance at the second weekend of Coachella after being admitted to hospital for unknown reasons. In a Tweet, he has now confirmed that he is back home and will be back on stage for his appearance at Counter Point Festival in Georgia tomorrow (April 23).

"Feeling better thanks for the prayers," he wrote. "Ima be back [100 per cent] for Wednesday's show I promise. Resting at home for now. God bless u guys."

The US hip-hop star was expected to perform at the second weekend of the California event but a statement released on the day of his scheduled performance revealed that he was currently recovering in hospital and would be unable to play live.

The statement from Chance The Rapper's management read: "On behalf of Chance and our entire team, we sincerely regret to have to cancel our 2nd weekend at Coachella. Chance fell ill on Friday night & was admitted to the hospital today - Doctors and family are with him & he is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you for the prayers and support during this time, Chance, the CTR team and family deeply appreciate it."

Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance during Chance The Rapper's set at Coachella the weekend before (April 13).

The pop idol came onstage to act as the up and coming hip-hop star's hype man during Chance's show on the main Coachella stage at the festival whilst Chance performed his part from James Blake's 'Life Round Here'. After the performance, Bieber tweeted: "That was fun".
