Rapper could require surgery in order to regain full health

Chance The Rapper has cancelled all of his live shows this week after being diagnosed with flu and tonsillitis.

Over the weekend (April 21), the rapper was forced to cancel his appearance at the second weekend of Coachella after being admitted to hospital.

He went on to claim that he would definitely be healthy enough to perform Counter Point Festival in Georgia today (April 23), but it has been confirmed that show will no longer take place.

A letter from Chance's manager, posted by the hip-hop artist online, reveals further details about his health including the fact that he had a 104 degree (40 degree Celsius) fever and was unable to speak on Sunday and that he may require surgery in order to recover. See the full letter below.
