Charli XCX has scored her first UK Top 10 hit with her new single 'Boom Clap'.

The track, which is taken from the movie The Fault In Our Stars, went in at Number Six this week in the Official Singles Chart.

Elsewhere in the chart, Cheryl Cole has taken the Number One spot with her new single 'Crazy Stupid Love', making her only the third British woman to have claimed four solo Number Ones. Canadian group Magic! are at Number Two with their track 'Rude', while Ariana Grande's 'Problem' (which features Charli XCX's former collaborator Iggy Azalea) is at Number Five.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran has achieved the longest consecutive Number One Album run since Adele's '21'. His new album 'X' is at the top of the Official Albums Chart for a fifth week in a row.

Dolly Parton's 'Blue Smoke – The Best Of' is at Number Two with Sam Smith just behind with his debut album 'In The Lonely Hour'. George Ezra and Coldplay make up the rest of the Top Five with 'Wanted On Voyage' and 'Ghost Stories' respectively.
