Ex-Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley to work with Squarepusher
She says the collaboration may sound like Lightning Bolt
Former Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley has revealed that she is planning a collaboration EP with Squarepusher.
Hatherley, now a solo artist and live player with Bat For Lashes, told Teletext that she was looking to follow up on the dance artist's recent remix of her song 'White Pt 2' by working on new material with him.
"Tom [Jenkinson, aka Squarepusher] remixed my last single, which was brilliant because he prides himself on not really listening to much new music," she said. "It's not definite, but working on new songs together is on the horizon. It'd be something in the vein of Lightning Bolt, I think."
Charlotte Hatherley releases a new solo album, 'New Worlds', on October 19.
