Beck has unveiled the sweet, poodle-filled video for ‘Colors’ track ‘Fix Me’ – check it out below.
The swooning closing track from ‘Colors’ follows previous releases ‘Wow’, ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Dreams’. Landing at Number 30 in NME’s albums of the year 2017, the record marked Beck’s thirteenth studio LP – check out the NME review here.
Shot in Japan, the visuals for ‘Fix Me’ feature baby Mame and her three poodle pals, Riku, Gaku and Qoo. The pups and their owner previously became Instagram-famous after Mame posted their adventures to the site and her 256,000 followers.
Speaking of the video, director Brook Linder said in a statement: “There’s something really special happening in the mountains of Yamagata, and we were lucky enough to enter Mame’s world for two afternoons in November. That home is heaven on Earth.”
It’s all for a good cause too – with the video being released in partnership with American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Meanwhile, Beck is set to return to the UK in May for a performance at London’s All Points East Festival. He joins the likes of Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lorde and The xx at Victoria Park. Last month, Beck took ‘Up All Night’ to the US chat show Fallon.
