Cheryl Cole and former Black Eyed Peas mainman will.i.am have been involved in a minor car crash in Los Angeles.

The pair, who have worked together for the past few years on various musical projects, were on their way back from a recording studio when the accident happened yesterday (August 29) in Los Angeles. According to local reports, the rapper was driving a Cadillac, which hit a parked car while Cole was in the front passenger seat.

The rapper suffered a bloody nose and was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital while Cole was treated at the scene for her injuries.

Both have since taken to Twitter to confirm that they are fine after the incident, with will.i.am writing: "Car accidents are not dope...I'm glad I'm o.k #wiplash", while Cole said: "Don't worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise x."

The rapper's manager Polo Molina also confirmed that he was fine, tweeting: "Just spoke to @iamwill everything is OK. He and Cheryl Cole are both fine. It was a minor fender bender after a long day/night in the studio. They are both OK. A little bit shaken but thankful that no-one got hurt."

Will.i.am and Cole most recently collaborated on her third solo album 'A Million Lights', duetting on a track called 'Craziest Things'.
