Peaches Geldof and Chester French's Max Drummey to divorce

Bob Geldof's daughter's six-month marriage comes to an 'amicable' end

Peaches Geldof and Chester French man Max Drummey are to end their six-month marriage, the couple have announced.

Drummey and Geldof, who married in Las Vegas in August 2008 following a month-long romance, say the divorce is 'amicable', according to BBC News.

"After much soul-searching we have made the mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways. Our parting is amicable and both of us still respect and care about each other immensely. There were no other people involved in this decision and we both look forward to a future as good friends," a joint statement said.

A spokesperson also confirmed that Drummey will be 'continuing his music [career]' with Chester French.

Peaches' father, Boomtown Rats man Bob Geldof, was apparently "incandescant with rage" after the pair's marriage last year.

I was so gutted to hear that these two musical legends had seperated that I immediately went and nailed my foreskin to a park bench with a pickle fork.

Much "soul searching"?Admittedly, that must have been very difficult for her, seeing as Ms.Geldof appears to have less depth than your average egg-cup. She should stop trying to ape her mother's behaviour.
